How the work gets made.
Five stages. The same five whether the engagement is a retainer, a single campaign or a packaging structure.
01 / Stages
01
Frame
Start with the commercial problem, not the deliverable. What the work has to do decides what it looks like, and briefs usually describe a symptom.
02
Position
Fix the claim before the craft. One sentence the brand can hold, and a reason to believe it. Everything downstream is an argument for that sentence.
03
Direct
Set the visual system. Colour, type, structure, frame. Enough direction that production has no guesswork left in it.
04
Produce
Make it. Generative AI carries concept visualisation, mock-ups and a share of the final assets, which is what makes the cycle short.
05
Hand over
Ship the files and the rules that keep them consistent afterwards. A system nobody can apply without me is an unfinished system.
02 / Where AI sits
Integrated across production since 2025.
Concept visualisation, mock-ups and final delivered assets, applied on live commercial projects for paying clients. It compresses the concept-to-approval cycle. It does not lower the standard the client signs off against.
What it is not is a replacement for direction. Deciding what to make, and judging whether it is any good, is the part that does not automate. The tools moved where the hours go, not who is accountable for the result.

03 / Engagement
Fractional, part-time, or per project.
Lean teams get senior creative leadership and practical AI capability without the cost of a full-time hire. The Seiko engagement ran exactly this way: embedded in the client's marketing team, monthly, for as long as it was useful.
